Offered here is a nice service used example of the 2nd Model Pattern 1853 Enfield Rifle Musket, as produced in England with brass butt plate, trigger guard and nose cap. The three steel barrel bands are held on with with band screws, only seen on the 2nd model. All of the other variations would use screw secured bands, which puts production of this approximately between 1856 and 1858. The lock is marked GREENER at
