This is a very nice set of German WWII Lightweight (Mounted) Leather Combat Suspenders, usually referred to as "Y Straps" due to the shape. This version is more lightweight than the standard issue, using thinner leather without the additional straps, D Rings, and padding around the central join, and is intended only for support of the combat belt and associated ammo pouches holsters. These were used by cavalry,
