Cuban Army material is very difficult to find, as none has been permitted to come into the country after the initiation of the U. S. Embargo beginning in 1962. The few items that do become available either have been captured during the U. S. Invasion of Grenada in 1983, or from those captured during the Cuban intervention in Angola.
