One of a Kind. This is a really phenomenal piece of soldier culture from the First World War. The top piece of a German ammunition box painted in a camouflage pattern used by Private Roland E. Jackson, Company E, 309th Engineer Regiment, 84th Division to send souvenirs home. Roland E. Jackson was inducted into the National Army on May 28th, 1918. He was assigned to a depot brigade before being reassigned to the 309th Engineer Regiment.
