Original U.S. Indian Wars M1878 Canteen with Leather Shoulder Strap - Stamped “U.S.” MG 34 Bolt & Barrel Assembly as marked on both ofOriginal Item: Only One Available. US M1878 Canteen with a tan canvas cover with a very clear U. S. stencil on the front, in good condition with the original issue leather sling. There are other stenciled numbers which could be regimental, including E over 4, and 13 on the other side. The canteen is complete with its original cork stopper secured to the neck of the canteen by a brass ring and chain. The cork itself is complete but has shrunk due to
