The Sword is encased in its original brass mounted leather scabbard which is fitted with a wide mouthed top mount that accommodates the pistol barrel and most of the action to within 3/4" of the cross guard butting up against the rear of the frizzen

and it is fitted with some lovely aged custom grips

and eventually controlled nearly every function of German life and much of Occupied Europe
