the underside is caked in old residue and we are unable to tell if it is maker marked or not

Short magazine tube extending only to the front of the Fore Stock with the correct Winchester "button" magazine nose cap confirming this was special order from the factory

the only example we’ve ever been able to purchase in 40 years has a somewhat worn and re-sharpened blade

In a manner of speaking this is most appealing, just 9 1 2" in overall length with a 5 1 2" fully engraved embossed blade bearing maker's name of E. CAMPI. The hilt is made of low grade silver with ebony, mother of pearl , and twisted silver panels. One side of the blade is embossed in script VENDETTA CORSO, which rather points the finger toward Corsica rather than Sicily. The other side of the blade also marked in script
