This is an interesting Belgian Pre WWI shako likely for wear by an Officer of the Belgian Army. The shako has a bullion chinstrap and a velvet backed cockade with a symbol of a Crown over a Diamond shaped symbol. The front visor is in good condition and is still well attached. The kepi is a bit misshapen but should look great with a mannequin head to give it shape. The interior retains the sweatband although there is
