This is a wonderful example of the classic Japanese Type 90 Tetsubo ( "steel cap") army helmet, also colloquially called the tetsukabuto ( "steel helmet") by Japanese troops. Features include: Original metal star applied to front. Solid complete three pad leather liner, with 3 of the 3 pads still present. Original, worn tie down chinstrap, still tied in a knot. It shows some wear but is still attached directly to all
