creamy wine that shows incredible intensity of flavor without excess weight
There is outstanding intensity to the beautifully detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess a beguiling texture thanks to the abundance of sappy dry extract that also buffers the very firm acid spine shaping the saline and relatively powerful finish
another wine that took several years to be the least bit pleasurable
This is often Taupenot’s best 1er and in 2015 it is again with its brooding aromas of spice
Olivier Bernstein, Chambertin Vintage:2021 30% whole clusters)Here the nose is actually quite similar to that of the Bze save for the fact that the aromas are slightly cooler and more restrained as well as a bit less spicy. There is more minerality to the powerful, intense and beautifully welldelineated medium bodied plus flavors that possess an abundance of mouth coating dry extract before culminating in an explosive, notably firmer and more persistent finish. This should be terrific in time. (93 95) 2027+
