The ruby-hued 2019 Pinot Noir Evenstad Reserve takes on ripe
There is adequate vibrancy to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a sappy if slightly austere finish that exude a touch of acidulated cherry bon bons

strongly Syrah leathery nose
Domaine, Latour Giraud Vintage:2020 The ruby-hued 2019 Pinot Noir(from 35+ year old vines in Charmes Dessus). Pungent aromas of wood, reduction and a hint of phenolic character render the nose unreadable today. More interesting are the dense, powerful and almost painfully intense larger scaled flavors that also soak the palate with sappy dry extract that does an excellent job of buffering the firm acid spine shaping the bone dry, moderately austere and impressively long finale. This is extremely promising.
