There is ample minerality suffusing the more powerful and appealingly textured flavors that also coat the mouth with dry extract while buffering the very firm but not hard tannic spine on the hugely long finish

An impressive 1er that is highly recommended

Michel Lafarge, Meursault Vendanges Selectionees Vintage:2015 accented by an iron note(from En Marcausse). This is aromatically similar to the straight Meursault but with more floral elements that include carnation and lilac. On the palate the medium bodied flavors are clearly denser with a beautifully textured, caressing and seductive mouthfeel, all wrapped in a sneaky long and impeccably well balanced finale. This could use better depth but the underlying material is clearly present for that to occur in time.
