Marquis d'Angerville, Volnay Caillerets Vintage:2020 While certainly a good effort

While certainly a good effort I was somewhat under-whelmed given the usual standards this wine offers

Supple and broad but lively

so they had to do a very soft vinification and an extended élevage

This brilliant wine is one of the best new breed Tuscan reds I have tasted

This is a nice Chateauneuf

Marquis d'Angerville, Volnay Caillerets Vintage:2020 While certainly a good effort(from two parcels measuring . 65 ha). Reduction once again dominates the fruit. The mouth feel of the medium bodied flavors is notably finer than that of the Frmiets with the same minerality and punch, all wrapped in a focused and lingering finish that also is ever so mildly warm and austere. In the same fashion the balance isnt quite perfect, but this is still very attractive. (90 92) 2021+
