you actually feel transported there when you taste it
Pliant and approachable but with attractive framing acidity and solid spine
The flavor profile is at once lush yet precise with lovely purity to the lightly mineral-inflected and subtly powerful finish that is beautifully well-balanced and persistent
its power and concentration shout for a carafe or a decade of bottle aging
muscle and a certain amount of refinement
Pla del Fount, Maury Vintage:1939 you actually feel transported there100% Grenache Noir. Extinct domaine just uphill of Mas Amiel. Very dark, blackish tawny. Intense but possibly just a very little old wood on the nose. But lovely richness and polish. Thick and treacly. Like fermented treacle toffees.
