A 1980 vintage from Didier Lemorton's family operation in the Domfrontais region of Normandy—over four decades in barrel

with aromas of orchard fruit and toffee

They only began distilling their own grapes in the 1970s under Gaston Béraut

with a dusty old oak cask quality

Serge Mathieu Champagne Cuvee Tradition NV modified_title_tag this cuvée is a referenceMedium bodied, with a pleasant acidity. Fruity and expressive, a blend of 60 % Pinot Noir and the rest Chardonnay.
