considering the amazing heights achieved in other vintages
glycerol-rich palate of similarly remarkable concentration and allure
A much spicier mix features notes of both red and dark pinot fruit
detailed and mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors possess fine mid-palate density while the beautifully detailed and persistent if youthfully austere finish is supported by very firm but fine tannins
a decision that has paid off beautifully
Perrot Minot, Gevrey Chambertin other_regions considering the amazing heights achieved(from La Justice and Les Seuvres). There is enough reduction to mask the underlying fruit at present. The palate impression of the tautly muscular middle weight flavors is completely different as this is quite firm and robust with good power that carries over to the balanced and impressively persistent finish. This is certainly Gevrey in character but thanks to the relatively fine grained tannins it avoids any sense of rusticity. Recommended. (89 92)
